Hotel Review: Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa

On the Blue Wave certified beach of the Atlantic, in the vibrant city of Hollywood, Florida rests The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. I recently visited this hotel and had an amazing experience. From the gorgeous arrangements of fresh tropical flowers to the friendly and attentive staff, this luxury hotel is warm and welcoming as soon as you step foot. The lobby is also very impressive. The hotel has an array of amenities including outdoor pools, 24-hour in-room dining, water sports, and several on-site dining options. I highly recommend their Hollywood Prime restaurant for a formal dining experience, their food is top-notch, my favorite being their steak.

The room was spotless, with an amazing view of the ocean and intercoastal. My favorite part of the room was definitely their “heavenly” bed, it was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and has separate areas for the toilet and the shower. The pools are terrific with a lagoon style large pool that has a cascade from the upper pool. You can also walk to the beach which is right out back the hotel. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for both families, couples or business travelers.
